Torpedo7 and 1-day has been a great NZ success story, starting out with 3 staff in 2004 and now have 350+ staff. While retaining shares in Torpedo7, Guy and Luke have steered KGL (KEEWEE GROUP LTD) towards commercial property as its core focus and now has a range of commercial property for lease in Hamilton’s Titanium Park. This new property direction occurred in 2011 when KGL was given the task of securing commercial land to situate the ever-growing Torpedo7 warehouse and its future.
They found what is now called Titanium Park industrial zoned property Hamilton airport. To future-proof their expanding Torpedo7 investment and take the next step into the commercial property sector, the entire Stage 1 of Titanium Park was purchased.
At present, KGL holds multiple commercial developments at Titanium Park:
- KGL has built a 15,500m2 warehouse/fulfillment centre for Torpedo7. Completed in 2013, this was the very first structure built at Titanium Park and is currently the largest stand alone building in the Waipa district.
- Currently under development is a 1800m2 multi tenant unit on LOT 8
- LOT 7 is also under development with a proposed 2500m2 building.
- LOTs 2 to 6 are currently available, ranging from 6000 – 21,000m2
